We can’t deny the fact that a perfect henna color is the real treat for the eyes. Generally it is said that the color of henna is minutely depended on the warmness of the hands but here we have few simple tips and tricks to break all these myths.

Follow any of them for that perfect rich appealing henna color:

Don’t apply any oil, hand serum or cream before getting henna on. Normally people apply these to get darker color but it’s time to burst all those myth bubbles.

Keep henna on your hands or the body parts undisturbed till the time it is dried.

Sweep off the henna when dried completely and don’t wash your hands for good 2 or 3 hours.

Later apply oil, any petroleum jelly or balm to give your hands that warmth.

Give some Clove smoke to your hands.

Some wise man said celebrities are not the one who are rich and famous, rather they are the ones who celebrate each day of their life with full throttle. And we believe in what he said! That’s why at beautiful henna centre we celebrate each day of our work, each design that we do and each art that we create, and yes with each guest that we serve at our centre.

You might think why we do it that way, it’s because the design of henna fades through time, that’s how it is – all good things come with an expiry date. But we want our guests to remember the memory of the good time of having the henna done at our centre.

The tradition of henna painting is becoming popular every passing day, because tattooing has become very popular in last few years. Like a tattoo or other body arts today henna is also viewed the same way, a body painting for joyful events. When henna is applied on hands & feet, the body becomes a canvas for patterns of scrolls, swirls, vines and flowers.

Usually the designs of mehndi are quite intricate and mostly applied to brides before wedding ceremonies and in some countries even bridegroom is also painted with henna. In Arabic and Persian speaking countries, it is done for special occasion like engagements, weddings, news of pregnancy, childbirth, family get-togethers, as well as many other occasions where people celebrate with their family & friends.

Unlike full fledged henna designs, henna tattoos are more fun thing and easy to carry. Temporary henna tattoos have become very famous in wedding events and other family events and gatherings. Although these casual traditional-mod fusions of henna art are temporary, but they will become your permanent love if you have it once at beautiful henna centre. Bet!

Henna tattoos are a fun and safe way to explore body art without pain or commitment. It’s been in trend; for ages now, in India and Middle East to decorate the body, and now it has become famous all over the globe.

We’re sure no one would deny if we say, “The rich dark colour of henna and the beautiful designs are a real treat for the eyes”.

Since henna is not permanent so it starts fading off after few weeks, it takes nearly 2 weeks to get the stain disappear completely.

Unfortunately there is no readymade product available to remove the henna colour, like a nail paint. So, you’re left with only two options, either you get an exact same design again or wait for the henna to fade off completely.

But waiting for 2 weeks is like And wearing the same design again is . Don’t worry, we’ve got you some solutions which will fasten the fading process.

Here are the tips to remove henna tattoo naturally:

Dip your hands in warm water:

Take a bowl of warm water, dip your hands in it for 4-5 minutes. Then rub them against each other. Do it for at least 2-3 times a day. This process fastens the henna colour fading.

Wash your hands frequently:

Washing your hands frequently will help you lose the colour faster. But remember washing the hands many times will make them dry so it is advisable that you use a moisturizer whenever your hands start to get dry.

Rub lemon juice:

Squeeze a few drops of lemon on your palms and rub them together. Lemon has bleaching properties which will help in the discoloration of the henna.

Try some hair conditioner:

Do same as you did with the lemon juice; drop some hair conditioner on the palms and rub them together to fasten the discolouring process.

P.S. Henna colour fades away naturally. So, we advice to not use any extreme method which may permanently damage the skin.

Often we hear people complain about their dull henna color or henna not lasting for long.

As much as making the henna tattoo is an art; keeping the tattoo for longer and ensuring that it comes out thick and dark is also an art.

Well; there’s no one word answer to why this happen. It just happens and there could be many reasons behind it like;

If you wash your hands multiple times a day

If you bathe for long or swim (the high levels of chlorine in pool water can lighten the henna stain)

If you exfoliate or scrub the henna stain

If you remove the henna paste too soon

If you remove the henna paste with water

Apart from these, temperature also plays a very crucial role in the henna stain process. If a person tends to have cold hands, feet, it effect the henna colour, or if you spend most of your time in a cool environment then also it fades away.

An artist’s job is done as soon as the tattoo is finished; she might share some tips as well but it is your job to follow the after care to get the desired colour.

In case your henna artist never shared the after care regime; here are some of the dos and don’ts for you to take care of your henna:

Dos and don’ts before & after a henna session:

Don’t apply any oil, creme, gel or lotion before applying henna, coz color develops best on bare skin.

Don’t do waxing, bleach or Moroccan bath same day before henna so as to avoid any reaction or allergies since the pores would be open.

Don’t go for tan after henna as it can burn the skin and leave permanent marks.

Don’t wash the henna for 2-3 hours after removing it.

Leave the henna till it dries & then just scrape it off once it starts falling off. Don’t wash.

Apply olive oil or Vaseline after removal of henna for the color to deepen and darken.

For making the colour grow dark faster, you can use Vicks.

In case, you are doing laser treatment for hair removal, avoid having a session on the same day as henna.

Don’t do henna in case you have rashes, itching or any other skin irritation.

Hope this article was helpful. Do share your thoughts below.

It has been favoured since the time immemorial coz of its flexibility and convenience of application. Off late henna has become very popular and known as henna tattoo; as it can be used as a “test-drive” for an actual inked tattoo, or just as a temporary form of expression. It looks appealing and goes pretty well with both modern as well traditional fashion trends.

Why Henna is a perfect blend of style and tradition?

Henna is the perfect choice for you if you want a stylish tattoo for a short time or you want to wear it for little longer on some traditional occasions.

And these day it is also possible to have henna with different colour shades.

Beyond cool and stylish it has a few more highlighting attributes:
